Influence of Elevated Temperatures on the Mechanical Performance of Sustainable-Fiber-Reinforced Recycled Aggregate Concrete: A Review

In recent times, the applications of fiber-reinforced recycled aggregate concrete (FRAC) in practical engineering have gained greater popularity due to its superior mechanical strength and fracture properties. To apply FRAC buildings other infrastructures, a thorough understanding residual properties durability after exposure fire is highly important. According established research, volume fractions reinforcing fiber materials, replacement levels (RCA), heating condition would affect thermal–mechanical FRAC. This review paper aims present updated performance at an elevated temperature post-fire reinforced with various types material, specifically steel (SF), polypropylene (PP) fiber, basalt (BF). More explicitly, this article FRAC, such as compressive strength, splitting tensile capacity, modulus elasticity, mass loss, spalling, temperatures, are discussed. Furthermore, study also encompasses relationship among dosages fibers, aggregate, relative that help optimum selection content. Conclusively, elaborately reviews summarizes relevant literature on containing SF, PP BF. The further provides realistic comparison these fibers terms their future enhancements engineering.
